Biography
Kari Kober is a certified physician assistant for our Mount Vernon joint replacement surgeons. She has been working with Anderson Clinic since 2008. Her career here began with Dr. Jeffrey Lovallo. She moved to her current position with our joint team in July of 2022. While Kari is now strictly hips and knees, she is happy to see any of Dr. Lovallo’s patients in follow-up.
Kari is a northern Virginia native and graduated from C.D. Hylton High School located in Woodbridge, Virginia. She was a Division I volleyball player for Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 2000.
After working over five years as an accountant, Kari decided to enter the health care profession and become a Physician Assistant. She attended Shenandoah University located in Winchester, Virginia and graduated with a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2007.
While at Shenandoah, Kari participated in two medical mission trips to Nicaragua that were very rewarding experiences. In her free time, Kari enjoys spending time with her family including her husband and their daughter, as well as cooking, baking, doing arts & crafts, and exercising.
