Karess Denny is a board certified Physician Assistant who works with Dr. Corey Wallach on the spine team. Karess is originally from Rochester, NY. She graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2008 with a B.S. in Physician Assistant Studies. She obtained her M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies from Pace University. She spent 6 years working in outpatient Colon and Rectal Surgery for the University of Rochester Medical Center. During that time, she worked with the research team along with colleagues to develop a published journal article regarding recovery after surgery. Prior to relocating to Virginia she worked in Orthopaedic Surgery where she evaluated patients in a hospital and surgical setting.
She was an active member of the Rochester Regional Physician Assistant Association for 8 years. She is currently an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. In her leisure time Karess enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. She also enjoys traveling, watching Broadway musicals, and attending live sporting events.
