Jess Coggins, PA-C

Jess is a board-certified physician assistant working with Dr. Gandhi. She is originally from Frederick, MD, and received her B.S. in Public Health Science from the University of Maryland in 2018. After graduation, she discovered her passion for patient care while working as a medical assistant for several years prior to attending PA school. Caring for patients recovering from foot and ankle surgery during this time solidified her interest in orthopedics.

Jess received her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from West Liberty University in 2024. Completing her clinical rotations in underserved communities further reinforced her drive to help eliminate healthcare disparities by providing optimal and individualized patient care. While she was sad to leave the amazing patients and friends she made in West Virginia, she is excited to be back home and starting her career in the DMV. Outside of work, Jess enjoys playing guitar, going to concerts, traveling, and spending time with friends.
