Climbing to the Top!
Congratulations to Meg who reached her goal of climbing to the top of Bright Angle trail and Old Rag Mountain at the Grand Canyon this summer, exactly one year after her surgery with Dr. Saddler.
“I feel really great and am so happy I had the repair made – bone spur removed from the head of the femur and labral repair where the cartilage had been torn by the spur. The recovery was quite long because the injury happened over time and so all my muscles needed serious retraining/strengthening.
I simply could not have done these hikes pre-surgery and it made me very happy to have transitioned to a place where I can do a lot more physically than I could do before.”
