Emily is a board certified Physician Assistant who works with Dr. Stephen Saddler. She grew up in Virginia Beach, VA before getting her undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech in 2016. She studied Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise and was a D1 athlete on the college dance team. She worked closely with the sports medicine program and physicians during her time as an athlete.
She graduated from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2020 with her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies. She then worked in the emergency department in the Hampton Roads area before relocating to Northern Virginia in Spring of 2022 and starting with the Anderson Clinic.
Between personal sports related injuries in college and a lot of exposure to acute orthopedic injuries in the emergency department, she wanted to specialize in orthopedic medicine. She loves the mix of developing patient relationships as well as being involved with in-office procedures as well as the operating room.
In her free time, Emily enjoys traveling, the beach, practicing yoga, hiking and coffee shops.
