I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Fricka. Not only does he have a great bedside manner but is a great surgeon! He has performed both of my knee replacements (different years!). My knees feel great! The only hold up to me returning to tennis is myself. He has provided me everything I need to get back on the court. I did play after my first knee replacement. Just need to get myself back on the court now that I have had my 2nd knee replaced (in 2016). Thank you, Dr. Fricka!

I had torn both my menisci in a 'traumatic' accident. My P.C.P. insisted that Dr. Branche was the 'only' orthopedic surgeon I should consider for my treatment. He very thorough in his evaluation, & came up with a treatment plan that was excellent for me.He made sure I understood everything, pre and post surgery. He's truly a Dr. who cares about his patients. I'm very comfortable and confident in his work. As a fellow professional, I understand why his peers have rated him highly, and he has been selected to appear as a "Top Doctor" in the 'sports medicine' category of the 2018 Washingtonian Magazine annual rankings! Thanks Dr. Branche!

I had my right hip replaced by Dr. Bill Hamilton on December 11th. Right now it's 5 1/2 weeks and I'm walking mostly without the crutch (haven't used a cane) and driving locally with no problem. I had received several referrals to the Anderson Clinic and chose Dr. Hamilton based on what he said in his bio. I'm here to tell whoever reads this … that the whole experience was delightful (okay … maybe smooth, seamless, and successful is a better way to say it). From our first meeting, Dr. Hamilton was engaging and caring, but did have a business-like demeanor. It was helpful to meet him at the Lorton office. The pre-op day was thorough, but not painful. Get an appointment as early in the day as you can. A volunteer (and electronic screen) kept my wife posted on my progress at each stage of the actual surgery. Obviously, I don't remember it, but know it was quick (60 - 75 minutes) and I have not had one single complication resulting from it. I particularly remember Kathy the pre-op nurse, Beth the post-op evening nurse, Michelle the discharge nurse, and Julie the case manager as being super friendly and helpful. The clinic arranged for Livinright Physical Therapy to do home visits. I had 2 nurse visits and 8 PT visits. All their staff were knowledgeable and helpful. The biggest challenge was getting in/out of bed as I had very little strength in that right leg for 2 - 3 weeks. I had been super concerned about driving again (have my own business), but during the excellent 1 month post-op visit with Jeanine Gargiulo (also in the Lorton office) she assured me (after good questions) that I'd be fine. There was no "test" to determine my readiness to drive. Last Saturday (during our snowstorm) daughter and I walked a mile (mostly flat) with me carrying the crutch. You do want to have it with you for stability, when you get tired, or going up hills. Bottom line - you can get back to normal life (even better than before surgery) quite quickly. So …. outstanding on all accounts - Dr. Hamilton and his entire staff of assistants. I'm glad I followed the referrals of my PT and Chiro professionals!! Jeff Parks

I had minimally invasive bunionectomies on both feet 4 weeks apart by Dr. Schipper, and I can not say enough great things about my experience with him and Anderson. The procedure was so much better than the traditional method open bunionectomy. My recovery and pain was faster and very manageable, and I was back on my stationary bike after 2 weeks! Tanya and the whole staff at all the offices were top notch and responsive! I had the EXACT team at the surgery center for both surgeries, which was the icing on the cake! Look no further for your ankle and foot issues! 5 stars isn't enough!!!

Dr. McAsey performed a total Hip Arthroplasty 16 Nov 2018 after a week I had no pain just soreness. Prior to surgery I had epidural injections with the military which did not work. The entire staff from pre surgery to surgery provided top notch medical care and communicated with me afterward about my recovery and answered any questions or concerns I had. Dr. McAsey is the best.

Two years, prior to my surgery, I was experiencing so much pain in my back, it had become unbearable. I could not walk for any distance. At my arthritis doctor's suggestion, I had epidural injections, which seemed to help, but was only temporary in easing my pain. My doctor then requested x-rays and MRI, which confirmed it was time for me to see an Orthopedic Surgeon. Dr. Corey Wallach has made such a difference in my life. He operated successfully on my lower back on August 10, 2017, which he considered to be a level two surgery in complication. I had my one-year appointment recently and am very happy that Dr. Wallach was my surgeon. I feel comfortable and confident in him. He is the best!
