US Women’s Team and Dr. Nagda Qualify for the 2020 Summer Olympics

Feb 10, 2020- The United States Women’s National Soccer Team, assisted by our own Dr. Sameer Nagda successfully won the CONCACAF 2020 Olympic Qualifying Tournament with a victory over the Canadian National Team in the final. Both teams will qualify for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.  Dr. Nagda sat on the team bench and served as team physician during the qualifying tournament.  “It’s an honor to be a part of this team and exciting to qualify for the 2020 Olympics!”

Welcome Dr. Sershon!

The Anderson Clinic is excited to welcome Dr. Robert Sershon to the practice! Dr. Sershon is a fellowship-trained hip and knee replacement surgeon specializing in muscle sparing anterior hip replacement, minimally invasive knee replacement, and robotic assisted surgery. He is a Chicago native, where he completed medical school and residency at Rush University Hospital System. He then completed his one-year fellowship in hip and knee replacement surgery at The Anderson Orthopaedic Research Institute and was invited to join the practice.  » Read more about: Welcome Dr. Sershon!  »


The Joint Replacement Team Hosts 2019 Traveling Fellows

The Joint Replacement Team of the Anderson Clinic hosted the 2019 Hip Society Rothman-Ranawat Traveling Fellows.  This is our fifth year participating with this program which was created with the goal of fostering the talents of young hip surgeons by providing them with a unique, inspiring, and educational 4-week tour of outstanding centers for hip surgery in North America.  We are honored to be one of those centers.

Dr. Branche participates in the Society for Tennis Medicine and Science Meeting

Dr. Branche recently had the honor of being a keynote speaker at the Society for Tennis Medicine and Science (STMS) meeting in Miami.  STMS is an international organization of healthcare professionals who study the medical aspects of tennis science and conduct research. Dr. Branche’s talk outlined his 27 year experience of being a physician on the professional tennis tour.

It’s Spring Training Time for Dr. Nagda!

 
This is the 9th consecutive year that Dr. Sameer Nagda has gone to Washington Nationals spring training as part of the medical staff.  While there he performed pre-season physicals on players and coaches.  Dr. Nagda is very honored to participate in assuring the Nationals are in tip top shape for the 2019 season.  Let’s go Nats!!

Bishop Ireton wins fourth girls’ lacrosse state title in five years, topping St. Stephen’s/St. Agnes

Congratulations to the Bishop Ireton Girls Lacrosse team for winning their 4th state title.
A well executed play resulted in an 8-7 victory over St. Stephens and St. Agnes with just a minute left in the 4th sudden-death overtime period. The team has won 4 titles in the last 5 years.

American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons 2018 Spring Meeting — New Orleans, Louisiana

Drs. Dr. Nagda Travels with the USA Women’s National Soccer Team for the 2018 SheBelieves Cup
